1. Comparison between blind
belief and Sradha
Faith is the trust in
the words of the Guru and Vedanta. Steadfast faith is very much essential in
spiritual path. Sreadha paves the way to
the spiritual path. Sradha or faith and
blind –belief are the two extreme ends in spiritual path. Verification is not possible with blind
belief. Whereas faith can be
verifiable. The difference between faith
and blind-belief is very subtle. But it
is very powerful. When crisis arise blind belief is often shattered but faith
strengthened. In blind belief one can
believe blindly. There is no particular reason for that belief. But understanding
becomes foundation for faith.
Faith is an intellectual
trust.
